Have you ever gone to Bromo? How was the way you took? By a travel car like general people, then rented a jeep to take a tour around Bromo? Sit about in the car and enjoying scenery while the driver took the common tour? Come on mates, that was a bore to death trip. Just make your own trip! 

You can try new experience traveling around Bromo by motor cross. I did it, and it was an amazing adventure. It started from Malang with three of my friends. We went to Bromo through Nongkojajar, because one of my friends had a business  there. That way spent 4 hours drive to get Bromo, but it didn't matter. We got a beautiful view through the street. The curving road, up and down steep road, pines everywhere, sunflower and various other on the wayside, misty sometimes are the atmospheres over all the way.

The adventure began when we got the first challenge. It was a down steep road with tilt angle up to 45 degrees and long about 2 kilometers. Nearly half of the road crushed into pebble-stone and sandy. Don't ask for potholes, they were everywhere. Moreover, we got some hairpin curve while going down the road. You must be gingerly when you're down the road with your bike. If you make a little mistake, you'll get the road. That felt like riding a roller coaster, even more!

After we passed from the deadly steep path, the desert gave a greeting to us. It was the second challenge. All of us must drove around the vast expanse of sand sea to get the village. You know what, ride a bike on the sand is amazing. Every time your tires will get slip. I almost fell down in many times. In some of the desert ways, the sand was very thick. The deepness of sand made my friend's bike stuck in the middle of that way. He had to try for about 8 minutes to get him out from that sand. It was hard, but it was totally fun. After that, we got a lot of joy with motor crossing around the sand sea and took many pictures. And finally we reached the village while stars were rising.

In the second day, we woke up at 4.30 to run against sun. Bromo in the dawn is very cold, be sure you wear the right clothes. There are two places to see a beautiful sunrise in Bromo: Pananjakan 2 and Pananjakan 1. In Pananjakan 1, we could see the sunrise in higher position than Pananjakan 2. In that place, the sunrise will be rising beautifully over the horizon. My friends and I only reached Pananjakan 2, but the scenery wasn't bad enough over Pananjakan 1. We could see the giant clouds forming and waving over the sky, with a wonderful color of course.

After we had done with stunning sunrise, we went to sand sea again to reach the peak of Bromo. Play around the temple near Bromo with motor cross, then went to the peak by a horse first before climbed stairs to get the caldera. Before the sun going to the top, we got back to Malang via Tumpang. That way gave us different panoramic than the first way we got Bromo. We took away through a place called The Whispering Sand. Everywhere are sand, and mist covered us sometime. Voice of wind heard like a whisper, that's why the people named it. Then, the landscape changed into hilly Savana. The people named it Telletubies Hill. Grass everywhere and many flowers there, sunflower is one of them. Ya of course, I felt like Dipsy.

Finally, I am sorry for my description about Bromo is bad. Because of that you have to get there by yourself.
